Odor Description: Sweet, powdery hawthorn and mimosa with anise, vanilla, balsamic, creamy and softly spicy nuances.

Anisaldehyde, also known as para-anisaldehyde, is an aromatic aldehyde used in lilac, hawthorn, anise, honeysuckle and powdery floral accords. It rounds sharper aldehydes and reduces their pungency.

Medium odor strength with approximately 44 hours of substantivity when tested neat. A few percent or less is normally sufficient, although certain fragrance types may contain more than 10%. It has limited stability in alkaline systems and in the presence of amines.
