Odor Description: Very soft sweet-floral balsam with clean, herbal, oily, spicy and slightly phenolic nuances.

Benzyl Salicylate is a heavy aromatic ester used primarily as a blender, floral background and fixative. It supports ylang-ylang, gardenia, jasmine, lily and other substantial florals and performs well in soap, shampoo and fabric softener.

Low odor strength but excellent persistence, with approximately 384 hours of substantivity when tested neat. Its restrained diffusion makes it useful at relatively substantial concentrations without dominating the composition.
