Odor Description: Sharp, juicy lemon peel with sweet, tangy green, lime and lightly herbal nuances.

Citral is primarily a mixture of geranial and neral. It provides immediate freshness and lift to lemon, citrus, green and fruity compositions.

Bright and highly noticeable but relatively short-lived, with approximately 12 hours of substantivity when tested neat. It has limited stability when exposed to air, alkali or daylight and is unsuitable for many detergent and household-product bases.
