Dihydromyrcenol is a synthetic terpene alcohol used extensively in fresh fragrances, colognes, soaps and detergents. It provides a powerful supporting note in citrus, lime, aromatic and modern clean compositions.

Highly diffusive but relatively short-lived, with approximately 16 hours of substantivity when tested neat. It offers considerable formulation flexibility and may be used at very high concentrations in strongly fresh compositions.
